Our Bartlett does LFW / February '10
Well happy belated New Year one and all. It's been a busy one already, and next week I (well, my work) will be making my fashion week debut. I've worked up a lovely print for the delightful Rui Leonardes' A/W'10 collection. Here's a sneak preview. The garments will be on show at the Bathhouse, with a good old fashioned fashion party straight after, courtesy of Caligula.
Our Bartlett Christmas extravaganza! / November '09
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, and Our Bartlett will be rocking around the country being crafty in a Nordic tent. Obvs! There will be snow and reindeer (both real FYI) and pom poms and gnomes. Keep your eyes and ears open for more details. Also, if anyone needs a stocking filler for any discerning hankie users, give me a holler. I have a whole bunch of hand screen printed tache hankies in a variety of designs. Only £5 a pop.
Our Bartlett window at Vogue Fabrics / October '09
Hallo hallo! Yesterday I finished painting the window at Vogue Fabrics for the wonderful Mr Lyall Hakaraia. Should you be walking up Stoke Newington road any time soon, have a peek through the all seeing eye at number 66. There will be a series of tricks and treats to view through the dimensional portal (AKA Lyall's black hole!).
Our Bartlett show at Soma Gallery / October '09
I got a lovely invite from Fiona at Soma to show some work, so I got my knife out and cut up a storm. From 9th October there will be four hand-cut posters on show and to buy, plus a bunch of prints. Take a look and get your hand out your pocket in the name of good taste and pretty pictures!
PS. Images of the work are already up in the "Too Dee" section of my site.
Our Bartlett show at Tina...We Salute You / May '09
Thanks to the lovely boys at Tina...We Salute You, there's a bunch of beautiful things painted on the walls by me. Check the Too Dee section for photos. Runs for two months, ending 6th June.
Long time no update! Time to catch up / April '09
Well hello hello hello! I know it's been a while. A long while. But what can I say? I've been busy. So I'm currently updating across the site, making things make more sense and putting up all the work I've done in the nine months. Keep checking back for more good stuff. Peace.
Our Bartlett at the V&A Village Fete / July '08
Save some time at the end of this month because it's Village Fete time again. Bring some plimsolls along to the Our Bartlett "Likey Trainer Co." stand and get them snazzed up real nice. If you don't have any plimsolls of your own, there will be new pairs to buy at the fete as well as a bunch of other brilliant stands. Friday 25th and Saturday 26th.
Our Bartlett at the Brompton Stoops for Icon Magazine / June '08
On Saturday 21st June, I'll be sitting out on a cardboard stoop designed by 6a Architects on behalf of Icon Magazine, drawing trainers on trainers. Sounds a little random I know but I promise they look good. Follow the yellow brick road for more information, and please come visit. There's tons of other stuff going on as it's London Festival of Architecture.
Our Bartlett's tache stand rides again / April '08
On May the first my tache stand will be making an appearance at the Museum of London for an event called Create @ Late. More details on their site - come on down and get tached up.
Our Bartlett says hallo! / April '08
Hallo all. I've put some new(ish) work up. Times are busy, websites get neglected, and I'm desperately trying to fill in the gaps from the last few months. Hope you like the new input. Keep your eyes peeled for the wonderful Matt Kebbell in his video shoot, The Guillotines, some work for South Central and some more illustration.
Our Bartlett and South Central make friends / January '08
Look out for the new single "Golden Dawn" by South Central. Not only is it awesome and getting great reviews, I may well have done the artwork for the 12". Pictures when I get my copy.
Our Bartlett does some work and stuff / January '08
Hello and a happy new year and that. If you've been looking at this site (cheers by the way) then it probably looks like I've been slacking off. A lot. Well, let me set you straight. I've been doing lots of work to put on the site and settling in my new uber studio and, yes, getting a little distracted by the city. Please have a wander through the new selection of work. More soon I promise.
Our Bartlett moves to London / October '07
Tis true. Yes indeed. I have upped sticks and moved to London. Let's see what happens...
Our Bartlett on Tour / Summer '07
I've been given a spot on the Myspace bus this summer and have been / will be taking photos at a bunch of festivals. I'm going to put up a whole section of band photos when it's all over. Keep those peepers peeled.
V&A Village Fete / July '07
This year I was fortunate enough to get a stall at the fete. If you visited "TACHELAND" then cheers! You were all quite fantastic in your pursuit of the hirsuite. I'll put a photo link up and an update on the winners when the wonderful Handlebar Club have finished their prize deliberations.
